Terms and Conditions

The following conditions apply to all your wedding service arrangements, and together with the Booking Form, are the basis of your contract with Primavera Bled trading .Please read them carefully.

Your signature in the Booking Form will be taken as their acceptance by you. In these conditions, reference to ‘you’, ‘your’ and ‘yourself’ refers to the person or persons named on the booking form; ‘we’, us’ and ‘ourselves’ refers to Primavera Bled .

When making a booking, after we have confirmed availability of the wedding date to you in writing by e-mail or fax, you must complete and sign the Booking Form and email or fax it to us.  The form must be signed by the first named person on the Booking Form, who must be at least 18 years of age and who will be primarily responsible for making all payments to us.

A binding contract between you and us comes into effect once the booking has been confirmed and we have received your Booking Form with your deposit payment.
Please note that our terms & conditions are non-negotiable.

By proceeding with a registration or booking on our web pages you agree to the our terms and conditions. If any changes should occur to the above it will appear as an amendment to the hereby listed conditions. By proceeding with a registration or booking you agree to us using the information you provide in order to process the booking. We will not be held responsible if the data advertised entails errors or if we are provided with incorrect data to publish.


Initial contact will be via the enquiry form. 

We at Primavera Bled understand that you will have many questions.  Please ask for our  FAQs. Many of your questions may be answered there.  If you wish, we provide an option for you to arrange an inspection trip when you can meet with us here in in Bled.  During this visit we can answer your questions and escort you around possible venues for your wedding and reception.   

We endeavor to provide a reliable and professional service in every respect and to respond to all communication usually within 1 working days but no later than 2 working days.
To provide that service we have to prioritise our time to the benefit those couples whose weddings are most imminent. We will always aim to respond to you within these times, but if your wedding is more than six months from now then please do not be concerned nor disappointed if we take a little longer to reply.   

Most of our communication and planning for each wedding commences about six months prior to the wedding date. For urgent matters you can call us. Please note all orders and arrangements need to be confirmed in writing.

We will shortly be introducing personal web pages when you engage our services.  When this service is available you will be provided with a logon to your own webpage where a continuous record of all communication will be stored.  Then telephonic communications will be pre-arranged via your webpage to ensure mutual convenience.


For Primavera Bled to provide a reliable professional service it is important for you to understand the various stages of booking your wedding.

  1. 1.    You review the wedding products and services we offer on www.weddings-in-slovenia.com and decide which you require.
  2. 2.    You fully complete the Wedding Request Form.
  3. 3.    You forward the completed form to us via email.
  4. 4.    If your chosen date is available We will make a provisional booking for the date.  This booking can only be made firm when your deposit is received.  If more than one couple are seeking the same date priority is given to the first couple to provide their full deposit.
  5. 5.    We will confirm via email the provisional booking and also confirm initial pricing, including the amount of the initial deposit subject to any subsequent requests and changes.
  6. 6.    You confirm acceptance of our initial pricing via email and send us your non-refundable deposit. This deposit ensures that your chosen date is reserved and covers the initial non-refundable costs that we will incur on your behalf.  We are unable to proceed without this deposit.
  7. 7.    On receipt of your deposit We will confirm via email
  8. a.    the date and location of the ceremonies
  9. b.    instructions on the legal requirements and other paperwork required
  10. c.    a list of suggested restaurants and information on their fare from which you can select your reception venue and meal.
  11. We are not able to confirm the exact times for the ceremonies – civil or church – until 30 days prior to the wedding as these are determined by the registrar or church offical.  
  12. 8.    We recommend You to confirm the restaurant reservation and requirements no later than two weeks after your weddding booking has been confirmed with us.
  13. 9.    We will review your legal documents, book restaurants, entertainments and your chosen services and confirm via email that these are satisfactory and in place.  At this time there will be a quiet period until six months before your wedding when we will contact you with with further instructions.
  14. 10.    Six months prior to your wedding date We will provide you with a wedding protocol including a schedule of important dates and discuss with you any further matters relating to your requirements and any additional services that need to be confirmed.
  15. 11.    You may request extra services in writing up to 60 days prior to the wedding date.  These will be subject to availability.
  16. 12.    We will send you the final wedding plan for your approval with a final invoice for payment 45 days before your wedding date.
  17. 13.    You will make payment in full 30 days before your wedding date. After final payment any amendments or additions must be settled locally prior to your wedding taking place.


Please note that all prices are subject to change without notice.  Any variations in government charges and taxes e.g. VAT will be passed on.

Our initial quote, based on your requirements as listed in your wedding request form, will be provided to you before you make a decision to proceed with the booking.

To reserve your wedding date a non-refundable deposit of 900 EUR will be due 5 days after we confirm that the date is available.   If not received we cannot guarantee your chosen date or services.  On receipt of your deposit we will provide you with a payment schedule of two instalments with due dates.  Payments will remain due at the scheduled dates regardless of any changes or additions to your initial wedding plan.

The final price of your wedding services with any amendments due to changes in the services you require, will be sent to you approximately 45 days prior the wedding date.  

Final payment is due 30 days prior to your wedding date.  If the final payment is not received by the due date your wedding or event will be cancelled and all monies paid and due are non-refundable.

Other deposits may be required to secure specific locations or specialty services.  You will be notified in advance if this is required.  You will be provided with receipts for all payments made.
Payment for our services must be made by bank money transfer in EUR. If in GBP or USD, the amount payable must be equivalent to the outstanding EUR amount based on the current bank exchange rate.  We DO NOT accept Bank Cheques, Travelers Cheques, credit or debit cards. The Slovene banking system is efficient and secure.


If a wedding date needs to be rescheduled the deposit will be applied to the new date.  On receipt of your initial deposit you have 21 days to change the date or location without penalty.  If for any reason choose to change your wedding date or location more than 21 daysafter booking then a €150 fee will be incurred.  In either case, if any service providers already booked cannot be re-booked for the new date, all charges for that service provider will be charged according to the schedules below under Cancellations.


All cancellations must be notified in writing and the following charges will apply from the date the notification is received by us (we recommend you use recorded delivery, fax, or e-mail with receipt notification activated).
Cancellations by You – your liability
The charges applicable if you cancel your wedding are:
1.    More than 150 days prior to the wedding deposit amount.
2.    From 150 - 120 days prior to the wedding 20 % of the initial quote and deposit
3.    From 119 – 90 days prior to the wedding 40 % of the initial quote and deposit
4.    From 89 – 60 days prior to the wedding 50 % of the initial quote and deposit
5.    Less than 60 days prior to the wedding 100%  of the initial quote and deposit
The initial quote is the amount accepted by you when you sent us your deposit.  
Charges may also applicable for cancellation of a specific service or services*:
- up to 30 days after the wedding booking has been confirmed to you, cancellation of these specific services can be made at NO extra charge.
- cancellations or changes of these services after the initial 30 days since the booking has been confirmed to you will result in full payment of these services.

* The following services are examples of specific service: videographer; the restaurant; entertainment (e.g. band or DJ); civil or church service; transport between venues; flowers; bridal services e.g. hairdressing and make up; and venue/table decorations.
Cancellations by Us - our liability
Our obligations to our customers are:

1.    To endeavour to provide accurate and up-to-date information to all our clients throughout the booking process.
2.    To make all the necessary reservations requested by you during the booking process and confirm them to you in writing where your requirements are confirmed with us in writing.

We accept responsibility for proven negligence and deficiencies caused directly by Primavera Bled and its staff.

We cannot be held responsible when we are forced to make a change or a cancellation as a result of circumstances beyond our control, the consequences of which we could not have avoided even with all due care.


Primavera Bled are not able to provide wedding insurance.  To insure your wedding you must purchase insurance in your country of residence.


Primavera Bled cannot be held responsible for cancellations or changes resulting from a Force Majeure. This applies to the time before, during and after the event taking place.

If the performance of this agreement is delayed, hindered or prevented or is otherwise frustrated by reason of force majeure i.e. any event beyond the control of the party affected, then the party so affected will promptly notify the other in writing.  

Upon acceptance in writing by the other party of the existence of any such event, or if the other party has failed to respond within five working days, the obligations of both parties will cease or shall be suspended for an appropriate period of time to be arranged between you and Primavera Bled.


It is our responsibility to assist you with correct information regarding the legal requirements imposed on us by the Slovene government regulations, current legislation and Church authorities. Please note we cannot obtain or request specific personal documents on your behalf (i.e. certified copies of birth certificates, etc.).  It is your responsibility to arrange these and provide them to us at the required times.  

If the documents are not received by us at the required time, or are incorrect due of not following the guidelines we provide, the consequences are entirely your responsibility.  Legal requirements are found on this web site and will also be sent to you at the time of booking.


The service of a wedding photographer is an integral part of our wedding service and cannot be excluded.

Photographic coverage will be at the photographer’s professional discretion and each photograph will be considered to be of equal importance.  Every effort will be made to comply with your wishes but any special requests you make are not a binding instruction.  The photographer is not responsible for the failure of individuals to be present or to cooperate during photography sessions, nor for missed images due to lack of instruction.

The Photographer
Our photographers have sole-exclusive right to take images of your wedding day.  Should a second professional photographer be under your direct employment, we reserve the right to withdraw our photographer.  Our photography charges will not be reimbursed.  

Due to time constraints and the need for subjects to pay full attention to the professional photographer, guest photography is requested to be done at a separate time. The client acknowledges that they are responsible for notifying all of their guests that guest photography is not permitted at any time while the professional photographer is in session.

In exceptional circumstances it may be necessary for the photographer originally agreed to be substituted without notice.

All image sizes are of a standard format. The photographer will provide a pleasing colour balance but cannot guarantee exact colour matching owing to anomalous reflectance caused by a combination of certain dyes and materials especially man-made fibres. It is sometimes impossible to record on film/digital the exact colour as seen by the human eye.

The photographer will perform standard retouching to take the photographs to a quality of which he is proud. Further retouching, digital manipulation and artist finishing is available on request as an optional extra and incurs an additional fee.

All images or copies of images whether stored digitally or otherwise are protected under international acts of Copyrights.  It is against this copyright legislation to copy or allow to be copied photographically/electronically or by any other means an image created as a part of this contract without the written permission of Primavera Bled.

All rights to images created by the photographer will remain with Primavera Bled until all fees are paid in full.  Only then will the copyrights be released to the client.  The images will remain the intellectual and moral property of the photographer and Primavera Bled indefinitely.  The photographer and Primavera Bled may only use the photos for marketing and promotion of Primavera Bled and the photographer, unless you request us not to do so in writing.

Artist Licence
The photographer shall be granted complete artistic licence with regard to the poses photographed and locations used.  Due to the unpredictability of the weather conditions it may not be possible to capture all requested images.


As part of our service we also offer a reservation service for wedding receptions i.e. wedding breakfast/dinners, banquets, etc. In the booking process we offer suggested services offered by our partners – the decision on which venue to choose is yours. As a part of our service we can arrange room decoration, table layouts, menu choices and all other aspects of the event. As with all event planning, certain regulations need to be taken into account such as: Venue Choice
When confirming your choice of venue, you will be required to provide an approximate number of guests.  Some venues demand a deposit which you will be requested to provide.

Final Numbers
Final Guest numbers must be confirmed no later than 30 days prior to the reception date. Variations of plus or minus 10% can be accommodated without penalty.  Where changes exceed these numbers additional charges may apply.

Duration of the Reception
Certain venues for not charge venue hire fees and are not constricted with time usage. Some venues include a venue hire for 5 hours in their cost of the menu.  When the event exceeds this time a venue hire may be charged. Exact details of these are agreed upon the time of the booking.

Food & Beverage Policy
Due to insurance and health code regulations, no food or beverage of any kind will be permitted to be brought onto the premises.

Liquor Liability
The sale and service of alcohol is strictly regulated by Slovenian legislation.  It is prohibited to serve alcohol to minors (aged under 18).  The patron has the right to refuse the sale or service of alcohol to any individual not holding accepted forms of identification and/or if the person is deemed to be intoxicated.

Venue and table decorations
The venue decoration is a part of the services we provide at an extra charge. Primavera Bled or venue management will do our best to distribute or display them as instructed.  We or venue management reserve the right to limit the number of items brought onto the premises.  No responsibility for any lost or damaged is accepted.  Centrepieces or other decorative items bearing an open flame are not permitted.  Candles must be enclosed in glass or similar.
Should you decide to arrange the decoration of the venue and table decorations by yourselves - this is done at your  sole responsibility and in compliance with the venue regulations. 

Primavera Bled and venue management reserve the right to limit the volume of musical entertainment.  A maximum of one hour is allowed for all entertainment equipment to be set up and dismantled.  Food and drinks for performers are paid for by you as they are not covered by the venue.

Car parking is subject to availability at each venue.

Primavera Bled and venue management shall not assume any responsibility for lost and stolen articles prior to, during or after the reception.  We and venue management reserve the right to hire a security officer at any function when we feel that it is in the best interest of our partners and guests.  Clients are responsible for any damage to the building and equipment during the event.

A venue cleaning fee may be charged if the venue and its related facilities are left in a state of excessive disarray and uncleanliness.

Reception Payment
Final payment for receptions is to be made no later than the date of the wedding. Payment is made directly to the supplier/restaurant or hotel.  Most accept credit/debit cards, bank money transfers and cash payment.  Cheques are not accepted. Please note that each supplier has their own conditions of which you will be advised at the time of booking.  The conditions below are typical of those stated by many of our suppliers.


Primavera Bled is not responsible for the behavior of your guests.  Our services are engaged by you the couple and we act on your instructions only.  Your guests are reminded that they must behave in a responsible manner and abide by any reasonable request of the staff of Primavera Bled, our suppliers, or any legal authority.

If children attend your wedding day and events,  they must be chaperoned by a designated adult.  We can and do not take any responsibility for children or their actions during the course of the wedding day.


In the event of issues arising during the wedding day, please register your complaint immediately with your wedding co-ordinator or any other Primavera Bled member of staff. We will attempt to resolve the issue immediately.  Failure to do so may reduce your rights to compensation.

If you are still dissatisfied, you must complete a written complaint and send it to us within two days of the wedding.  Failure to follow this procedure relieves us from liability in relation to any claim.
